Bespoke steel-frame garden rooms built across Devon and the South West. JLG designs and builds the whole thing in-house — galvanised steel frame, insulated and clad envelope and a fully finished interior — so you get anything from a garden games room or home office through to a fully insulated, plumbed and wired annexe you can live in.

Scope scales with the project, but these are the parts of any garden rooms package JLG covers as standard across Devon and the South West.
Every garden room is built on a galvanised steel frame rather than timber — straight, strong and stable, with none of the warping, rot or movement timber-framed rooms are prone to over the years.
Walls, floor and roof fully insulated and finished in low-maintenance composite cladding, with the windows, doors and bi-folds you choose, so the room is warm and usable right through the year, not just the summer.
Handed over decorated and ready to use — plastered or boarded walls, flooring, lighting and power throughout, with kitchens, shower rooms and heating added where the brief calls for it.
From a home office, gym or garden games room up to a fully self-contained annexe with kitchen, bathroom and living space, built to whatever level of finish and use you need.

Steel. Every garden room we build sits on a galvanised steel frame rather than a timber one. Steel stays straight and true and will not warp, rot or move over time, which gives a far more solid, longer-lasting building.
Yes. We build them at every level, from a basic insulated room through to a fully self-contained annexe with a kitchen, shower room, heating, insulation, power and water, somewhere you can genuinely live, work or put up guests year-round.
Anything from a home office, gym or garden games room to a hobby studio, home bar or guest annexe. We build to suit the use, so the insulation, services and finish all match what the room is actually for.
Yes. We take it from the groundworks and base up, preparing and laying the foundation, erecting the steel frame, insulating and cladding the envelope and fitting out the interior, all by one team, so there is no piecing different trades together.
Many garden rooms fall under permitted development, but it depends on the size, height, position and how it is used — a habitable annexe in particular often needs permission. We will talk you through where yours is likely to stand before any work starts.
